Te Kāhu Tiu Trust is developing a therapeutic, education and cultural learning environment for young men on a rural property on the Kāpiti Coast. The aim is to divert vulnerable young men away from the Criminal Justice system and empower them to improve their quality of life. Part of the educational offering is skill development in organic, nutrient-dense farming utilising the principles of organics and permaculture.
Kete Ora Trust has provided funding towards community working bees to convert the property to biodynamic and organic standards.
