We were really pleased to support Fundamentals of Biodynamics in Growing Nutrient-Dense Food, Spirituality, and Connection, a workshop offered by Taruna College in September 2025. The very positive comments received from the 19 attendees illustrates the value of face-to-face workshops, with many participants wishing for an extension on the three day event, allowing for deeper exploration and more extended hands-on engagement.
The workshop covered three key areas:
Deepening Understanding and Practical Application of Biodynamics - equipping participants with both the philosophical grounding and practical skills needed to apply biodynamic principles effectively.
Strengthening the Spiritual Connection to Land Stewardship - incorporating Steiner’s six basic exercises, daily reflection, and eurythmy, the workshop supports participants in cultivating an inner practice that enhances their ability to work in harmony with nature. This strengthens the connection between the health of the farmer and the vitality of the land.
Supporting Sustainable and Regenerative Agricultural Practices in New Zealand- providing an accessible entry point for those new to biodynamics while also deepening the knowledge of those already on the path. By fostering practical skills and networking opportunities, it encourages the ongoing growth of biodynamic, organic, and regenerative land management in Aotearoa.
