Kete Ora Trust provided support for this interesting hands-on weekend of workshops and teachings run by Taruna College. The weekend marked the 100th Anniversary of Rudolph Steiner’s lectures that were the springboard to his agricultural course launched nine months later.
The weekend began with a 500 stir and spread on Friday evening at the stunning location of Te Mata Peak in Hawkes Bay at the time of the equinox full moon. The Michaelic theme mirrored that of Steiner’s and related to healing and ‘Iron and the Blood’, with workshops on compost, cow pat and soil samples.
The very positive feedback from participants noted the value of the learning and the gathering, with a call for more workshops in the future.
Participants described the information shared in the lectures by local Anthroposophical Doctors Richard Drexel and Helen Proctor as captivating and easy to follow: “The pace of the programme allowed a good balance of teaching, digestion, practical hands on experience and connection.”
